Bowden Lodge

Newton Abbot, Devon

Work Completed

Bowden Lodge was a disconnect and demolition of a bungalow and then full electrical, heating, lighting to the new timber framed house.

What we did

Briard and Hutchings were responsible for disconnecting all gas and electrical services into the property before its demolition. A new timber framed detached house was erected on the plot with full design, supply and installation of lighting and heating. A Mitsubishi Eco-Dam Air Source Heat pump provides an economical source of energy into the building with an additional system installed in the plant/pool room to heat the swimming pool.

Full design, supply and installation of the under floor heating system complete with mobile phone connectivity ensures that the clients have full control over their heating system any where in the world. Due to the size of the property, we also recommended installation of a second return pump on the hot water supply. This cuts cost and time when drawing hot water particularly for showers, as it stops the need to wait long periods of time before the hot water comes through. The dwelling now also benefits from dimmable LED lighting and decorative LED strips.
